Ep.1 RC: Slide, scramble
Held immediately upon arrival. In head-to-head matchups, players must slide down a water slide, scramble under a net, then throw sandbags at a bell. First to ring the bell wins the chance to select a camp item for their tribe (so both tribes can theoretically win) - tarps, food, flint, champagne, and a mysterious locked box. Rd.1: Rob d. David (picks box). Rd.2: George d. Tommi (flint). Rd.3: Kirby d. Parvati (fruit basket). Rd.4: Luke d. Tony (tarp). Rd.5: Cirie d. Sarah (comfort items). Rd.6: Kass d. Janine (coffee & tea). Rd.7: Lisa d. Shonee (champagne). World technically wins, 4-3. (But in reality, both tribes won.)
Ep1 RC: (Slide, scramble) - Both tribes win items.
Day 2
(Sep. 21)
Ep.1 IC: Stairs, blocks, slingshots
Tribe must work together to haul a heavy staircase along the course, then use it to climb over a wall. Then they must roll six heavy boxes to build a second staircase, and finally two people (David, Luke; Rob, Tony) must climb that to shoot a slingshot from a tower, to break eight tiles. Results: World leads until they bicker about how to get the sixth block into place. Aussie passes them, with David almost lifting the final block himself. Tiles broken: Luke-1,2, Tony-1,2, David-1, Luke-3, Tony-3, David-2,3, Tony-4, Luke-4, David-4. Australia wins! (8-4)
Luke is one of many people looking for the Aussie idol (individually), but on Morning 3, he actually finds it. After celebrating, he decides to tell nobody else about it, to preserve its power.
Shonee sits out. Tribes must use a heavy battering ram to smash through a wall of blocks, pass through a keyhole, then transport blocks across a bridge and up to a high shelf. Then one person at a time (Tony/Tommi/Tony; David) will toss sandbags to knock them off. First tribe to knock off all their blocks wins immunity. Results: World has a lead heading into the brigde segment, and extends it as Aussie drops a pair of blocks. World has around half their blocks down before Aussie starts throwing, but Luke gets on a hot streak, and they're tied with 5 blocks each left. Then Tony gets hot, and pulls it out for World. World wins.
The World tribe collectively decides it's time to look for the key to the mysterious box from Ep1, on Day 5. Parvati almost misses it, but eventually finds it. She immediately shows Cirie and Kass, and they go back to camp to open the box. After a brief Tony interruption, they enlist Lisa's help to distract Tony at the well while they open the box. Parvati and Cirie open it to find the contents are just a clue, to an idol on JLP's podium.
(Possibly) while the World tribe is looking for the key, Kass finds the World tribe's actual idol, in a bush near camp. She decides to keep it secret, doesn't tell anyone about it.
As seen since 2017. Players must hold up a sandbag to keep an overhead trough from tipping and drenching the tribe. They can drop out at any time, but must hand off their sandbag to someone else. Tribe that stays dry wins. Results: All still in at 30 minutes. Cirie is out first (has to drop out for taking her hand off the bag while Tony was helping). Rest still going at 1 hr, 40 min. Then Sarah tries to pass off her bag, drops it. World wins!
Lisa unable to participate due to a medical condition. Using only their feet, the seated contestants must hold a wooden block off the ground by pushing it against a pole. If they drop the block, they're out. Last person from each tribe still going wins immunity, and both tribes will attend Tribal. Results (order out): A5. Luke (4.5 min.), A4. Kirby (15 min.). [At 20 min., everyone has to put their hands behind their head] A3. Janine, A2. Shonee - so A1. Sarah wins for Aussie. [At 45 min., everyone has to keep one foot on their block, the other dangling in the air] W5. Tommi, W4. Tony (53 min.), W3. Cirie. [1 hr, 20 min] Kass accepts Parv's deal to drop if Parv drops in the next endurance challenge, so W2. Kass, W1. Parvati wins.
Both tribes arrive at Tribal unsure about how only one person will be voted out, with two tribes present. JLP explains that in fact, they will draw rocks to determine a fire-making representative from each tribe (Cirie, Sarah). Those two then race to build a fire to burn through a rope. Winner wins immunity for their entire tribe. Sarah has little trouble making fire, while Cirie struggles throughout. The Aussie tribe is sent back to camp, and World must voe someone out. After Tony's torch is snuffed, Parvati hangs back, then grabs the idol from JLP's podium as her tribe walks away.
Sent back to camp by Luke, Parvati arrives and finds a large glass jar full of cookies, and a note telling her to eat them or herself or share with her tribe, her choice. She decides to hoard them, and takes the (again, glass) jar over to the beach to bury in the sand. Somehow in dropping it into the hole, the glass shatters, scattering cookies everywhere. In the debris she notices a scroll - it's the Knowledge is Power advantage (idols only) that Myles found in Brains V Brawn II.
As seen since S10: Palau. Contestants must lie in the water, holding on to a metal grate. As the tide comes in, breathing space becomes limited. Last person still in wins immunity. Order out: 10. Lisa (10 min.), 9. Cirie (12 min.), 8. Kirby (15 min.), 7. Parvati, 6. Shonee. [30 min.] 5. Sarah (33 min.). At 40 min., have to stop the challenge due to lightning. Challenge cannot be resumed later, because the tide came in and submerged the grate. So JLP asks for unanimous agreement to do a rock draw for immunity, everyone agrees ... and Tommi wins!
Standing on a box, contestants must push laterally on two heavy beams representing 15% of their body weight. If either one or both drops, they're out. Winner also gets reward, in the form of a mysterious scroll. Order out: 9. Cirie (<1 min.), 8. Janine, 7. Lisa, 6. Shonee (2 min.), 5. Tommi (5 min.), 4. Luke (same time), 3. Kirby (12 min.), 2. Parvati (15 min.), 1. Kass wins! She can't read her scroll until the next morning. (It's a spa reward, she takes Parvati, Cirie, Tommi.)
Kass reads her mysterious scroll in front of the entire tribe, and it allows her to pick three people to join her on a trip to the Survivor Sunset Spa. She picks Cirie, Parvati, and Tommi. They get to bathe, eat pastries, and drink champagne. Everyone not taken is mad.
Contestants must fill a leaky bucket (on a seesaw) with water, to level a table upon which they must build a house of cards - by crossing a balance beam, and bringing cards one at a time. If the cards fall, they must start over. First person to build a tower taller than the marker wins immunity. Results: Tommi leads throughout, wins.
Ep7 F8 IC: (Dear Liza/House of Cards) - Tommi wins.
TC8 - Kass voted out (5-2-1), 7 left.
Ep.7 F7 IC: Tipsy/balls
Held immediately after Kass is voted out at the F8 Tribal, near Tribal Council. Contestants must pull on a rope to balance a wobbly table (as in "A Bit Tipsy"), but instead of stacking things, they must balance five balls in tracks on the table. If they drop, they must start over. First person to balance all five wins. Results: Luke leads, eventually wins.
As seen in (flashback, even!) AU4: Champions v Contenders 2. Contestants must drop a ball into a long tilted track, run down to the bottom to catch it before it hits the ground, then start again. At regular intervals, more balls are added, making it more difficult. If a ball hits the ground, they're out. Last standing wins immunity. Order out: (all reach two-ball stage) 6. Shonee, 5. Janine. [3 balls\ 4. Lisa, 3. Cirie. [4 balls] 2. Parvati, 1. Luke wins.
Contestants must carry a monkey's fist on a pole across a series of obstacles (A-frame, monkey bars, balance beam), adding a section of piole before each new obstacle. Then use the monkey fist to hook a ring and pull down a balance beam, which they then cross. Then they must navigate a trip obstacle, carrying a block with a fork, attempting to stack 7 blocks at the end (the challenge Kirby won at F6 in TvR). Results: Luke, Shonee lead early. Order to blocks: Luke, Shonee, Parvati (Luke has 4 blocks before anyone else gets there, but drops at #6), Janine, Cirie. All stacking at the end. Shonee's stack drops at 5 (wind). Luke gets to 7 - Luke wins.
(Surprisingly, no loved ones present.) Contestants must stand on narrow pegs while holding up a heavy weight (20% of body weight). At regular intervals, they move to narrower pegs, making it more difficult (three pairs total). If at any time they fall off, they're out. Last person standing wins immunity. Order out: 4. Cirie (loses balance, 30 min.). [1 hr., middle pegs] 3. Janine (75 min., falls off). [1 hr, 30 min, final pegs] 2. Luke (108 min., falls), so 1. Parvati wins!
Janine, Parvati, and Luke give opening statements, then field questions from the jury. Highlights include Parvati revealing her advantage bluff of Kass, and Luke pointing out he got Parvati to rip up her advantage, which benefited only him. Lisa asks Luke to describe something he likes about Survivor as much as Lisa loves the show ... and Luke talks about fishing and eating coconuts. Kass asks Parvati a tough question: Which jurors does she anticipate will vote for her? Parvati handles it well and reinforces her dominance throughout the game. Sarah (aided by Kirby) points out for everyone that Janine torpedoed the Aussie numbers at the merge. It all seems like a slam dunk for Parvati, and it is: She wins, 6-1-0 over Luke and Janine, respectively.
Final Tribal Council and jury vote on the Final Three: Parvati wins, 6-1-0.
