Day 0 (Apr. 23) |
Day 1 (Apr. 24) Ep.1 RC: Spinning slide puzzleHeld immediately on arrival, Day 1. Contestants must initially choose one person (Gerald; Cara/Mitch/Andrew) to choose between a slide puzzle or chopping through a log to release a key. Once released, one person (Simon; Wai) acts as the caller as the rest of the tribe does a spinning, 6-arm slide puzzle (as seen in the F5 IC of Heroes v Healers v Hustlers). The goal is to slide letter tiles to spell the tribe name (BRAWN or BRAIN) in five arms of the puzzle. Gerald chops the log quickly, giving Brawn a huge lead. Cara chooses the puzzle, swaps out for Mitch, who eventually gives up, decides to chop. Andrew takes over on chopping, releases the key. The Brains soon catch up on the puzzle, and both tribes are neck and neck, placing the fifth word. Brawn wins, chooses a survival kit (fruit, tarp, ropes) over fire in the form of a burning torch. Ep.1 advantage: GeorgeNext to the well in Brains camp, George finds an advantage allowing him to remove himself plus five people of his choosing from their first Tribal Council. He ends up doing so. ← Previous: Ep.1 RC Next: Ep.1 IC → |

Day 2 (Apr. 25) Ep.1 IC: Climb, carts, slingshotTribes must cross a series of obstacles, untie a ladder, climb up to a cart, send people down it 6 at a time, then climb a rope to release 4 balls, then use a giant slingshot to land those balls in a basket. First tribe to land four balls wins. Both tribes are close through the cart ride. Brains take an early lead on the slingshot as Joey lands a ball in the net, but they swap him out Andrew who misses repeatedly, while Simon lands four shots for Brawn. Brawn wins, 4-1. TC1 - Phil voted out (5-1), 23 left. |
Day 3 (Apr. 26) Ep.2 RC: Battle DigJanelle sits out. In head-to-head matchups, contestants must race through a crawl obstacle, dig up a sandbag, and touch their tribe square with it. First tribe to "three" points wins fishing gear, spices, and bread. Results: Rd.1: Hayley d. Chelsea (Brains 1). Rd.2: Siimon carries Mitch (Brns 1, Brwn 1). Rd.3: Dani d. Georgia (Brns 1, Brwn 2). Rd.4: Baden d. Gavin (tied, 2-2). Rd.5: Emmett d. Joey (after some brief taunting), and Brawn wins, 3-2. |
Day 4 (Apr. 27) |
Day 5 (Apr. 28) Ep.2 IC: Swim, balls, fish puzzleGerald sits out. One at a time, contestants must swim out to a deck, climb a ladder, roll over a wheel into the water. When all reach the end, two people (Emmett, Flick; Andrew, Joey) must swim and knock balls out from a high net, then all must work together to put the balls into a high chute, releasing a key, which unlocks a hanging fish puzzle. Two people (Wai, George; Daini, Janelle) work the puzzle. First tribe to finish wins. Results: Brawn has a slight lead entering the puzzle, but Wai blazes through it, and Brains win. TC3 - Janelle voted out (7-4-1), 22 left. |
Day 6 (Apr. 29) Ep.3 RC: Trough fillingTwo tribe members (Daini, Gerald; Rachel, Baden) must hold ropes to hold up a heavy trough, while the opposing tribe tries to fill it with water. Each tribe has two people standing in the way (Dani, Gavin; Cara, Laura) trying to prevent the other tribe from tossing water in. Eventually the trough becomes heavy, one tribe drops it, and it spills, so they lose. Winner gets coffee, tea, milk, and biscuits. Results: Brawn takes an early lead with better coordination on their throws, wins. They're surprised with pictures from home back in camp. |
Day 7 (Apr. 30) Ep.3 IC: Brain-teaser, obstacles, block balanceSix tribe members at a time must solve a ropes-and-boxes brainteaser, requiring them to release a large ring. They then use that ring to cross a wall, then cross a ropes course, then two people at a time (Andrew, Joey, Mitch) must toss sandbags to knock off a tower of blocks. Finally, two people (Baden, Hayley) must rebuild that tower on a seesaw. Results: George solves the brainteaser for the Brains, giving them a huge early lead. Brawn is still on the ropes obstacle as Brains win. Ep.3 idol: KezKez found a clue in Brawn camp on Day 6, but the idol was in a highly public place, in full view of the camp. On Day 7, after Brawn loses the IC, Kez enlists the help of Flick. They sit in front of the rock where the idol is to chat, while Kez digs it up, stealthily. She then further needs Flick's assistance to conceal it. TC3 - Gavin voted out (6-[0]), 21 left. |
Day 8 (May 1) Ep.4 RC: Game of Throw-InsWai sits out. As seen in San Juan del Sur. Contestants are tethered in pairs, and must scramble through a crawl obstacle, grab a ball, go back to a marked shooting zone, and shoot the ball into a basket, while a pair from the other tribe tries to do the same with their ball. First tribe to score wins a point. First tribe to three points wins comfort items plus bacon and eggs. Results: Rd.1: Simon (Chelsea) d. Andrew, Hayley. Rd.2: Joey (Mitch) d. Emmett, Kez. Rd.3: Dani (Shannon) d. Laura, Cara. Rd.4: Simon (Chelsea) d. Baden, Georgia. Brawn wins again. Ep.4 idol: GeorgeEarlier in the day, Baden finds a clue directing him to a tree that's unfortunately in full view of camp. After the RC, Baden sets off looking for the idol. George trails him, and notes a particular tree that Baden seems to be favoring. After Baden wanders off empty-handed, George climbs up the tree, spots the idol, and takes it. |

Day 9 (May 2) Ep.4 IC: Cage, obstacles, word puzzleCara sits out. Tribes must carry a heavy cage up and over posts, pausing to climb up (Shannon, Mitch) and grab four pairs of bags of puzzle pieces along the way. Then they must climb out and over a wall, cross a cargo net, then one person (Daini, Joey) must flip a rope over posts and pull a bridge across. Then the tribe must solve a word puzzle (WILL BRAINS OR BRAWN SURVIVE UNTIL DAWN?). Brawn has a huge lead, but once again, Brains pass them on the puzzle, win. TC4 - Benny voted out (5-5; 6-2), 20 left. |
Day 10 (May 3) Ep.5 Brawn idol: SimonKnowing he's on the outs, Simon sets about scouring the Brawn camp for idols. He spots one in a tree near camp, but doesn't feel like he can grab it undetected. Eventually the temptation is too much, and he successfully (?) retrieves the idol. Ep.5 RC: Log RollGeorge, Laura sit out. In head-to-head matchups, it's a standard log-rolling competition: contestants must try to stay on a log longer than their opponent. First tribe to three points wins the necessary cookware and ingredients to make "toasties." Results - Rd.1: Hayley d. Flick. Rd.2: Emmett d. Andrew. Rd.3: Simon d. Joey. Rd.4: Dani d. Cara, and Brawn wins, 3-1. Ep.5 reward idol: SimonThe Brawn tribe returns to camp and finds all the fixings and equipment they need to make toasties. Included in the pile of stuff are some burlap sacks. As Simon is moving stuff around to get the food going, he notices one sack has something in it. It's yet another idol, which he grabs, he thinks in secret. Gerald, however, spots him putting the idol in his bag. |
Day 11 (May 4) |
Day 12 (May 5) Ep.5 IC: Balls, balls, ballsHayley, Wai sit out. Each tribe must release a set of balls, run through an obstacle, and catch the balls at the other end. Once each person has a ball, they must roll their ball up a ramp and into a chute, then take it through a water obstacle, finally land it in an overhead triangular frame. First tribe to do so wins immunity. Results: Brawn takes a huge lead as George fails to land his ball in the hole. Brains eventually reach the final stage, and land a ball, but Brawn is already on their final shot, which Simon lands. Brawn wins. TC5 - Mitch voted out (6-4-[0]), 19 left. |
Day 13 (May 6) Ep.6 RC: Obstacles, sandbagsRachel sits out. Tribe is tethered together, must cross a series of obstacles, the last person carries a key to unlock a set of sandbags, which two people (Daini, Simon; Joey, Andrew) use to smash six ceramic pots. First tribe to do so wins Lamington cakes and chocolate milk. Results: George and Wai lag on the ropes for Brains, so Brawn has a 3-0 lead on the pots before Brains start. Joey gets Brains back in it, 5-3, then Brawn ties it, 5-5. Emmett swaps in for Daini, hits final pot, and Brawn wins again, 6-5. They pick Joey to join them. |
Day 14 (May 7) Ep.6 IC: Hitching a RideWai sits out. As (mostly) seen in South Pacific. One at a time, five people (Simon, Flick, Chelsea, Kez, Emmett; Andrew, Hayley, Joey, Georgia, Baden) must drag a kickboard out through the water, retrieve a key, then hold on to the board as their tribemates turn a giant winch, pulling them back to shore. Once retrieved, the five keys unlock puzzle pieces for a giant tribe design puzzle. Results: Brawn takes a huge lead, lapping Brains as they grab their final key. Unlike in the past, they complete the puzzle before the Brains. Brawn wins. Ep.6 idol: CaraKnowing he's a target, George searches the Brains camp for another idol, and Cara helps him. Eventually, Cara reaches into a hole in a tree, finds the idol. Together, she and George plot to play the idol for him. TC6 - Cara idoled out ([0]-3-3; 6-2), sent to Brawn, 19 left. |
Day 15 (May 8) Ep.7 RC: Holding Up BarrelsCara sits out for Brawn. Each tribe has 9 barrels they must hold up by pulling on 9 ropes. Contestants can tap out at any time, but someone has to take their rope, and they can't come back in. Last tribe with all its barrels in the air wins Aussie barbeque. Order out: Circa 19 minutes, Wai (gives ring to Andrew), Shannon (hands to Simon). [1 hour] Both tribes handing off extra rings to each other frequently, Chelsea briefly is holding no rings, which is against the rules, is called out by JLP. Dani drops out (hands to Emmett). At just over 90 minutes, Gerald (with 2 barrels) drops, and Brains win! |

Day 16 (May 9) Ep.7 IC: Ropes, hanging idolDani sits out. Tribes must race up a series of ramps and collect ropes, which two people (Simon, Emmett; Hayley, Andrew) use to build a rope bridge. Then the tribe must climb and grab an idol, go under a net crawl, climb to grab four more ropes, where four people (Simon, Emmett, Daini, Gerald; Baden, Laura, Joey, George, initially) finally must throw the ropes over a beam and hoist the idol on a disc, up to a hook, which they must hang it on. First tribe to do so wins immunity. Brawn has a substantial lead throughout, including after the brief interlude for grabbing the public idol (see next item). But both tribes fail repeatedly at trying to hook the idol at the end. Eventually, Brawn wins. Ep.7 idol: HayleyIdol found during the Ep7 IC. As the challenge starts, Jonathan announces that an idol is hidden on the course by the Survivor logo, and that anyone can grab it at any time, if they think they need to. As Brawn starts building their rope bridge, George breaks for the idol, followed by Hayley and Gerald. Hayley soon gets it (with everyone watching), and the challenge then proceeds. TC7 - Joey voted out (5-3-1), 18 left. |
Day 17 (May 10) Ep.8 idol: LauraShortly before the swap, Laura and Rachel are going to the well at Brains camp (while being trailed by George). Laura spots a yellow string next to the path, and pulls on it, eventually revealing it's tied to a package, which contains an idol. George can tell she's found something, but isn't sure exactly what it is. Ep.8 tribe swapBoth tribes arrive on their mats, and Brawn reacts to the Brains having voted out Joey. After some various chatter, Jonathan tells them to drop their buffs. After a random draw, it's still two tribes named Brains and Brawn, but they've been shuffled quite a bit from their original configurations. |
Day 18 (May 11) Ep.8 IC: Weight and SeaAs first seen in Kaoh Rong. Two at a time, six tribe members must take a ball across water obstacles (balance beam, tilting slide), to a dock. Once all six balls are recovered, three people (Brawn: Baden, Dani, Simon; Brains: Daini, Cara, Gerald) must catch the balls and move themselves around the edge of a giant floating table maze, to maneuver the balls through the maze, into divots in the center. First tribe to place all six balls wins immunity. Results: George, Rachel hold up Brains on the balance beam, such that Brawn already has five balls placed before Rachel and Laura even get to the slide. Brawn wins in a blowout. TC8 - Daini accidentally idoled out (3-[0]-2-1), 17 left. |
Day 19 (May 12) Ep.9 RC/IC: Team obstacles, solo sandbagsGeorgia is ill, sits out. Challenge with teamwwork required/helpful, but individual payoffs. First two to finish for each tribe win individual immunity and a champagne reward. Challenge: Cross a series of obstacles (high-step, A-frame/high wall, paired balance beam, gates with two latches that must be lassoed, slack line with tension rod one person must hold). Finally, each contestant must land two sandbags on the table with their name on it. First two that do (per tribe) win. Results: Brawn helps each other up until the gates, then its everyone for themselves, while Brains work together, start sandbags together. Bags landed: Andrew-1, Baden-1, Kez-1, Gerald-1, Dani-1, Wai-1, Dani-0, Kez-0 (both knock their previous bag off), Andrew-2 (wins), Wai-2 (wins, Brawn done). Gerald-0 (knocks his own off), Cara-1, Emmett-1, Emmett-2 (wins), Cara-0 (knocks off), Kez-1, Rachel-1, Rachel-2 (wins, Brains done). After the challenge, Georgia departs for medical treatment overnight. TC9 - Laura (not) voted out (5-2). TC10 - Shannon voted out (6-2-1), (unanimous consent of IC winners), 16 left. |
Day 20 (May 13) Ep.10 RC: Shoulder The LoadHayley sits out. As seen since The Australian Outback. Three people per tribe (Gerald, Emmett, Kez; Baden, Siimon, Chelsea) must hold a bar across the shoulders. At regular intervals, weight (two 5-kg sandbags) is added, the choice of who gets the weight is made by the other tribe. Last tribe standing wins a trip to camp from the Survivor taco cart (plus margaritas). Results: After 30 min.: Gerald 50, Emmett 30, Kez 30; Baden 50, Simon 10, Chelsea 50. Chelsea drops, then Baden drops. Kez (40) drops. Gerald (70) drops. Eventually, it's Simon vs. Emmett, both with 90 kg, and Simon drops. Brains win. Georgia returns to Brains. |
Day 21 (May 14) Ep.10 IC: Sled, slingshotGeorgia is back with Brains, so no sit-outs. Tribes must move a "sled" (low cart) under a net crawl, over a ramp obstacle, climb up and retrieve sandbags from two stations, toss them through a net tunnel, then finally use the sandbags to shoot at 5 targets with a slingshot. First tribe to smash all 5 targets wins. Results: Andrew gives Brawn a huge lead in the climb/sandbag retrieval, and Dani has hit 2 targets before Brains start shooting. Targets hit: Dani - 2, Gerald - 0 , Simon - 1, Emmett - 3 (now tied, 3-3), then Simon - 2, Brawn wins, 5-3. TC11 - Georgia voted out (5-3), 15 left. |
Day 22 (May 15) Ep.11 reward: Letters from homeNo challenge, just a reward (in each camp). Each tribe receives a set of letters from home, which are greatly appreciated by the contestants. Many tears are shed. |
Episode 11 | Episode 12 | Episode 13 | Episode 14
Day 23 (May 16) Ep.11 IC: Cubes, rings, ballsFlick sits out. Tribes must slide cubes tied to ropes around a frame, to untangle the ropes and release a key. They must then move a larger cube along a track, then use the key to unlock three rings, to move them up and over a pole. The rings unlock a bag of balls. Then crawl through a mud pit with the balls, finally rolling the balls along a track into a pan. First tribe to get all three balls in the pan wins. Results: Perhaps because Emmett was throwing it, the Brains never solve the initial slide puzzle, Brawn wins massively. TC12 - Rachel voted out (3-2-2), 14 left. |
Day 24 (May 17) Ep.12 RC: Blue Lagoon BustleWai, Hayley sit out. As seen in Blood vs. Water, Winners at War. Tribe must row a raft out to two pontoons and retrieve two sets of 3 rings each, then one person (Simon/Dani; Emmett) must toss the rings onto six paddles, which spell out REWARD. First tribe to do so wins a trip to the Survivor candy shop. Results: Brawn leads heading into the ring toss. Paddles: Simon-1, Emmett-6, Dani-2, Simon-1. Brains win, 6-4. The reward turns out to be the classic one-person-at-a-time one, and Cara goes first, gets an advantage. Ep.12 advantage: CaraThe Brains arrive at their "candy shop" reward, and learn that it's the classic set-up where only one person at a time can go. (Which strongly implies an idol or advantage is in play.) The Brains draw straws, and Cara goes first. The advantage is plainly visible, and requires minimal effort to grab, so Cara does it. It turns out to be "Tribal Council advantage" that allows two people to attend the Tribal Council of their choice, and vote (while being immune themselves). Cara uses it after the next IC, and brings George along. |
Day 25 (May 18) Ep.12 IC: Discy BusinessSimon, Baden sit out, Brawn throws it. Similar to "Discy Business" in HvHvH, except instead of stacking blocks, contestants must pull on six ropes to raise a disc with a number of metal poles, and balance six balls on the poles. First tribe to do so wins. (That's the Brains, of course, who take over 30 minutes to do so.) After the win, Cara plays her Tribal advantage, giving herself and George the chance to sit in on and vote at Brawn's Tribal Council. TC13 - Simon voted out (6-3-1), 13 left. |
Day 26 (May 19) Tribes merge, Fire formed. Ep.13 RC: Merge/ catapulting sandbagsThe tribes assemble, note Simon's disappearance, then drop buffs and merge. Then it's straight into a challenge (which is mostly an auction in challenge form): Contestants must dig up a bag of 10 sandbags, then launch them with a catapult, trying to land them on one of three poles. Once any person lands two sandbags on two different poles, their challenge is done, and they can proceed to select one item from the merge "buffet table," ranging from full meals to covered items to a call home. First come, first served. Order finished: 1. George (burger, fries), 2. Hayley (steak, beer), 3. Chelsea (call home), 4. Dani (baked potato?), 5. Wai (covered - pancakes), 6. Cara (covered - 3 donuts), 7. Emmett (covered - jar of candy), 8. Baden (covered - 1 boiled egg), 9. Laura (covered - pizza, wine), 10. Andrew (avocado toast), 11. Flick (bowl of rice), 12-tie. Kez, Gerald - Kez takes the banana, Gerald bottle of milk. |
Day 27 (May 20) Ep.13 IC: Ball in chuteContestants must stand on a box and push up with both hands on a bar over their head, to keep a ball from rolling out of a chute. If it does, or they take a hand off the bar, they're out. Order out: 13. Gerald, 12. Wai, 11. Hayley, 10. Dani, 9. Laura, 8. Cara. [10 minutes] 7. Kez, 6. Flick, 5. Baden. [15 minutes] 4. George, 3. Chelsea. [42 minutes] 2. Andrew, 1. Emmett wins. Ep.13 idol: Kez finds #2After the IC, the Brawn alliance is plotting by the water, when Kez notices a rock that looks 'too clean' in the wall of the water hole. She investigates, and finds an idol, in front of several other people (all in her alliance, in theory). TC14 - Kez idoled out [0]-4-1, 12 left. |
Day 28 (May 21) |
Day 29 (May 22) Ep.14 IC: Multi-stage obstacles*THREE* people can win immunity, each with their own necklace. And they're the only people who can vote. (Sigh.) The challenge is a three-stage challenge with eliminations after each stage. Stage 1: Barrel race. Contestants must stand on a barrel and roll it along a track (can hold on to a rope to help balance/move). First eight to finish advance. Stage 2: Ropes/wall - Contestants must cross a balance beam, unwrapping a rope attached to a monkey fist, then use that to snag a hook and climb a wall. First five to do so advance. Stage 3: Table maze. Contestants must place three balls at the end of the maze. First three to do so win immunity. Results: Rd.1: Gerald, Wai, George, Flick eliminated. Rd.2: Order advancing = Emmett, Laura, Andrew, Dani, Baden. (Hayley, Chelsea, Cara out). Rd.3: Balls placed - Emmett 2, Andrew 1, Emmett 3 (wins), Andrew 2, Dani 1, Andrew 3 (wins), Baden 1, Dani 2, Baden 2, Dani 3 (wins). TC15 - Baden voted out (1), sent to Redemption Rock, 12 left. |
Episode 15 | Episode 16 | Episode 17 | Episode 18
Day 30 (May 23) Ep.15 IC: Let There Be RockAs seen in the Edge of Extinction F4 IC. Contestants must stand/walk on a rocking platform, while pulling on a rope to build and stabilize a stack of blocks. First to complete the stack so that it spells IMMUNITY wins immunity. Emmett takes a slow and steady approach. Several people, working faster, come close to passing him, only to drop their stacks. Eventually, Emmett wins his third straight IC. TC16 - Hayley voted out (9-1), sent to RR, 12 left. |
Day 31 (May 24) Chelsea pulled from the game, 11 left. Ep.15 duel: Get a Grip, over waterHayley vs. Baden. They must hold on to a (vertical) log over the water, for as long as they can. First person to drop is out of the game, the other returns to the game. Results: Baden lasts 20 minutes, but drops. Baden joins the jury, Hayley rejoins the game. |
Day 32 (May 25) Ep.16 RC: Raft, memoryContestants divided by rock draw into two teams of five: Green (Gerald, Flick, Laura, Dani, Wai) vs. White (Andrew, Cara, Emmett, Hayley, George). One at a time, contestants must swim out to a raft, climb on, then pull a rope to move themselves out to a pontoon, where they must memorize a sequence of symbols, then go back to the start and recreate that series with blocks. First person to do so wins a point for their team, first team to two wins a trip to the Survivor Outback pub with a KFC feast. Results: Rd.1 (6 symbols) - Hayley d. Laura (W1, G0). Rd.2 (6 symbols) - Flick (barely) d. Emmett (W1, G1). Rd.3 (5 symbols) - Dani d. Cara (W1, G2). Green wins! |
Day 33 (May 26) Ep.16 IC: Seated 'This Much'Contestants are seated, and using only their feet, must push on a weighted disc, to keep it from dropping. If they fail, they're out. Order out: 10. George. [30 min.] 9. Wai, 8. Dani, 7. Laura. [1 hr.] 6. Gerald, 5. Hayley, 4. Cara. [2 hrs.] 3. Emmett. [2 hrs, 15 min., Andrew and Flick must put hands behind their heads] 2. Flick briefly takes her hand away from her head, so 1. Andrew wins! TC17 - Gerald voted out (5-4-[0]), 9 left. |
Day 34 (May 27) Ep.17 idol: GeorgeGeorge finds a clue tucked into a rock near camp. It directs him to retrieve a key (and instructions) from a different location in camp. This turns out to be a key that unlocks a secret idol in the table in the voting booth. The idol can be played in secret, simply by writing the person you're playing it for on the back, then dropping it in the urn. The next day, George does this, saving Cara. |
Day 35 (May 28) Ep.17 IC: Hill race, puzzleContestants have to run a long way up a hill, grab a bundle of puzzle planks, then run back, for four total bundles (just over 3 km in total). Then they must then use the pieces to complete a circular vertical clock-like puzzle. ALSO: The last four to finish will be the only people eligible to be voted against at Tribal. Order finished: 1. Andrew, 2. Hayley, 3. Emmett, 4. Flick, 5. George. (Challenge ends, rest tied for 6th.) TC18 - Laura idoled out ([0]-1), 8 left. |
Day 36 (May 29) Ep.18 RC: Teeter Tower (car challenge)As seen in the South Pacific F5 IC. Contestants must pull a handle to stabilize a tipping see-saw, while building a stack of cards on it, with the other hand. First to reach the target height wins an Isuzu D-Max truck. Results: Multiple people come close and drop their stacks, but in the end, Dani wins. (Everyone else ties for second place.) Dani selects Emmett, Flick, and Andrew to ride with her off to a picnic. |
Episode 18 | Episode 19 | Episode 20 | Episode 21
Day 37 (May 30) Ep.18 IC: Chimney SweepsMostly as seen in Tocantins, etc. Contestants must stand on climbing holds between two posts. At regular intervals, they move down to smaller holds. Rd. 2: 30 min - move down to second holds. Rd. 3: 1 hr = smallest holds. 5. Cara (on transition), 4. Andrew (1 hr, 15 min), 3. Emmett, 2. Flick, 1. Hayley wins! Ep.18 idol: Cara's secondKnowing they're going to be receiving votes, George and Cara head out to look for idols. In short order, Cara fidns one in a tree near camp. TC19 - Emmett voted out (4-3-1), 7 left. |
Day 38 (May 31) Ep.19 RC: Planks, obstaclesRock draw for teams (Green: Andrew, Hayley, George; White: Dani, Flick, Wai). Cara has to sit out, but can pick the winner (she picks white). Teams must climb to retrieve three planks, which they will use to cross a series of obstacles, before finally attaching nets to each one, and attempting to land a sandbag in each net. First team to do so wins an Italian feast. Results: Teams are neck-and-neck throughout. Sandbags landed: Dani-2, Andrew-2, Dani-3. White team wins, Cara gets to join them. |
Day 39 (June 1) Ep.19 IC: Hold Your OwnAs seen (more or less) in the Ep11 IC in Panama - Exile Island. Contestants must stand on two planks that are held in place by a ring (attached to a rope) they pull on. If they let go, the planks drop, and so do they, into the cold river below. Order out: 7. Cara, 6. Wai (minutes in). [40 min.] 5. George, 4. Dani. [90 min., remaining players must exclusively use one hand, no switching] 3. Flick, 2. Andrew, 1. Hayley wins! TC20 - Andrew voted out (4-2-1), 6 left. |
Day 40 (June 2) |
Day 41 (June 3) Ep.20 IC: Balls, water obstaclesContestants must swim out to a pontoon, climb a ladder, jump and grab a ball in a bag, then cross more water obstacles, collecting balls along the way. When they reach the end, they must land two balls in a net over water. First person to do so wins. Results: 6. Wai declines to swim (fear of heights?), is out, 5. George's fear of heights prevents him from jumping for a bag, also out. Unsurprisingly, Flick is first to start shooting. Balls landed: Dani-1, Hayley-1, Cara-1, Dani-2. Dani wins immunity! TC21 - Flick voted out (4-2), saved, 6 left. |
Day 42 (June 4) Ep.21 RC: Sticks, key, sandbags, spinning targetContestants must run out into the water, retrieve a bag, bring it back, tie sticks together to form a pole to retrieve a key, use the key to unlock sandbags. Sandbags landed: Hayley-1, Flick-1, Dani-3, Hayley-2, Flick-2, Dani-4, Dani-5. Dani wins! She takes Flick, Hayley with her. |
Day 43 (June 5) Ep.21 IC: Ropes, word puzzleSimilar to 'Pole Dancing' in David vs. Goliath. Contestants are tethered to a rope wrapped around a hexagonal tower. They must unspool enough rope to cross obstacles and reach a key that unlocks their tether. Then they must cross a balance beam, use a sledgehammer to break through rails to release a bag of tiles.
