Day 1 (July 29) Ep.1 opening scrambleAfter the contestants arrive on the beach and are sorted into tribes, Matt announces they must gather as many survival-related items as they can by untying them from a boat and placing them on a mat. Additionally, the boat contains a locked chest containing rice and flint, the key for which is hidden under one of several colored rocks. Both tribes fail to find the key, but Izzy eventually starts taking gathered items from the opposing Hermosa tribe's mat, and placing them on Mogoton's. After time expires, she relents and gives them back a knife. TC1 - Hannah voted out (7-1), 15 left. TC2 - Dee voted out (7-1), 14 left. |
Day 2 (July 30) Ep.1 opening duel: Jail BreakBoth tribes takes seats at the arena, but are surprised to see Hannah and Dee return, and Matt welcome them to Redemption Island. Both must tie bamboo sticks together to make a pole long enough to retrieve three keys, to unlock a gate. Hannah quickly gets her first key, and unlocks her locks as she goes. Dee spends more time making her pole, but catches up to Hannah with her second key. But Hannah prevails, quickly getting her third key and unlocking the gate. Hannah wins, Dee is eliminated. |

Day 4 (Aug. 1) Ep.2 IC: Haulin' OatsOne sighted caller (Lee, Lou) directs pairs of blindfolded tribemates (Avi-Izzy, Tom-Shay; Mike-Georgia, Shannon-Barb) to gather five items from an obstacle-strewn field. They bring them back, place them on a platform, then two others (Tony, Sala; Nate, Jak) raise the platform to deliver the item to the caller. Finally, retrieve a flag and raise it to the caller. Hermosa wins, although both tribes have their flags as the challenge ends. TC3 - Tony voted out (4-2-1), 13 left. |
Day 5 (Aug. 2) Ep.3 RC: Hot PursuitNate sits out. As seen in Palau, tribemates are tethered together and each carries a 10-kg sandbag. Tribes must race around an oval course until one catches the other. Contestants can drop out as long as they unclip and hand off their weight to a tribemate. Results: Barb unclips for Hermosa. Lou, Shay, Izzy all unclip for Mogoton, leaving the three guys with 20 kg each. Jak unclips for Hermosa, but Mogoton tires quickly. Mike tags Sala, and Hermosa wins a tarp, coffee, and tea. |
Day 6 (Aug. 3) Ep.3 duel: Rock BlockSala and Lou, Georgia and Shannon are selected to attend. Tony expresses his displeasure at being backstabbed. For the duel, as originally seen in Redemption Island, duelers must toss small metal balls to land on and break four ceramic tiles. First to break all four wins. Tony takes an early lead, and wins, 4-1. Hannah is eliminated. |

Day 8 (Aug. 5) Ep.4 IC: Chimney SweepSala, Shay; Jak, Barb, Nate all sit out. Four compete per tribe. Stand on footholds, moving down to narrower ones every 10 minutes. All survive first two 10-min rounds. Rd.3: Avi first to drop out, then Lee (27 min), Izzy, Tom (30 min), Shannon (45 min). Down to Mike, Lou, and Georgia. Lou falls, Hermosa wins. TC4 - Izzy voted out (3-2-1), 12 left. |
Day 9 (Aug. 6) Ep.5 RC: Beach BallsGeorgia and Shannon sit out. The challenge is a traditional Survivor one with two people (Lou and Barb) firing balls with slingshots, and the remaining contestants trying to catch the balls in nets. First tribe to 5 ctaches wins. Matchups: Nate vs. Sala, Mike vs. Tom, Lee vs. Avi, Shay vs. Jak. Day 10 (Aug. 7) Ep.5 duel: Rope-A-DopeTony and Izzy compete. They are clipped to a rope that winds around two large structures, and must follow it to the end, untying three knots along the way. Izzy takes a lead on the first structure, and Tony never catches up. Tony is the third person eliminated. Lou medically removed. |

Day 12 (Aug. 9) Ep.6 Tribal swapBoth tribes assemble on the beach, and are told to drop their buffs. The contestants draw new buffs from a bag, with five of each color. Shannon draws the black buff, which sends her to Redemption Island until after the next Tribal Council, at which point, she will join the IC-losing tribe. Ep.6 IC: Barrel BridgeThe younger and more agile New Mogoton tribe easily moves their four barrels and two planks across the course, while the older New Hermosa struggle, mightily. Mogoton wins. TC5 - Georgia voted out (4-1), 10 left. |
Day 13 (Aug. 10) Shannon rejoins Hermosa. Ep.7 RC: StompedePerformed as a Hero Challenge, in which only one person (Avi, Lee) competes. Contestants must run out to the surf, untie a sandbag from a buoy, bring it back, then place it on a plank and jump on the plank to try to land the sandbag in an overhead net. First to three bags placed wins reward. Avi takes an early lead after figuring out optimal launch technique, lands his third bag as Lee is returning with his third. Hermosa wins comfort items, a hammock, and a plastic bag of melted chocolate. |
Day 14 (Aug. 11) Ep.7 duel: Offer It UpBoth tribes attend, to watch Georgia vs. Izzy compete. Duelers must stack plates and bowls on the end of a balancing arm, and hold it without dropping anything. Additional items are added at specified times. Both make it to the fourth object, but shortly after placing it, both Georgia and Izzy drop their stacks. Izzy's fell first, though, so Georgia stays alive. |

Day 16 (Aug. 13) Ep.8 IC(Similar to Cagayan's "Mazed and Confused.") Three people (Sala, Nate, Avi; Lee, Shay, Tom) must pass water from the beach to a balance beam by tossing buckets. They use the water to fill a container on a seesaw. Once full, the seesaw tips to release a key. The key unlocks a chest of puzzle pieces. The remaining two people (Barb, Shannon; Mike, Jak) must solve a word puzzle ("Fight to stay alive in this game"). Hermosa wins, although Mogoton supposedly threw the challenge. TC6 - Shay voted out (3-2), 9 left. |

Day 18 (Aug. 15) Ep.9 duel: House of CardsBoth tribes attend to watch Georgia vs. Shay, who are informed the winner will re-enter the game. Contestants must use 130 wooden tiles to build a tower of cards that passes the height limit (3 meters). First to reach it, or the person with the highest stack after 30 minutes wins, re-enters game. Georgia is about to place the winning cards when her tower collapses. Shay has run out of cards, and has to remove some from the bottom, but successfully completes her tower. Georgia is eliminated, Shay re-enters the game, and the tribes merge to form the Casar tribe. Tribes merge, Casar formed. |
Day 19 (Aug. 16) Ep.9 RC: Flash BackFor individual reward. Matt flashes a series of cards with symbols. Contestants must repeat the sequence back using a cube. Winner gets chocolate cake. Matt tells a story about Nicaraguan history, then everyone answers questions at various stations, each with three choices. To answer, the contestant must take a wrapped medallion corresponding to their chosen answer, run back to the center, and unwrap. Correct answer has gold medallion, rest have brown, which is tossed in the fire. First to five correct answers wins. Results: Tom-5, Avi-3, Barb-3, Shay-3, Shannon-2, Jak-2, Nate-2. Tom wins! Day 29 (Aug. 26) Ep.15 RC: Mud RunAs originally seen in Borneo. Run out, dive in mud, run back, wipe the mud off your body into a bucket.
