Tribes arrive on a military transport plane, have 5 minutes to remove survival items from a crate. From there, they take separate 5-mile hikes to their campsites, carrying as much gear as they can. |
Day 2 (Oct. 24) 
Ep.1 RC/IC: Bridging the Gap
While carrying a lit torch, tribes must 1. use two planks to cross a bridge with multiple holes, then 2. cross a river, pushing a raft. 3. After gathering ladder rungs, they must then pull a second raft across a river, using a rope, then 4. use the ladder rungs to climb a tower and light a wok. Ogakor develops a significant lead, then Kucha capsizes their second raft, extinguishing their torch. Ogakor wins easily, gets matches and immunity. |

Day 4 (Oct. 26) 
Ep.2 RC: Butch Cassidy
One at a time, contestants jump off a cliff into a river, swim out to a crate, then signal the next person to go. Once all tribe members reach the crate, it is unclipped, and the tribe must float it downstream, through rapids, to a campsite, then haul the crate to a platform. Ogakor wins, thanks to Rodger's poor swimming, and gets the contents of the crate (blankets). |
Day 5 (Oct. 27) 
Ep.2 IC: Tucker'd Out
(Gross Food). In the first round, contestants face off eating 'food' items selected on a spinning wheel. Some are good (apple, candy bar), most are not (mud whelk, crickets, witchetty grubs, mangrove worms, cow brain, tripe). Kimmi refuses, as a vegetarian, to eat brain. Tina is unable to hold down tripe. In the tiebreaker, Kimmi beats Tina eating a whole mangrove worm, and Kucha wins immunity. |

Ep.3 RC: Water Torture
Tribes select one person (Colby, Skupin) to hold a pole on their shoulders, on which the other tribe loads bags of water that have been carried over balance beams by the remaining tribe members (loaders are Rodger, Mitchell). Both Colby and Skupin reach the maximum number of bags, and are in an endurance standoff, when Skupin's pole breaks. As a tie breaker, each tribe has a limited time to put as many bags as possible on the opposing tribe. Ogakor wins, 14-12, and receives fishing gear. |
Day 8 (Oct. 30) 
Ep.3 IC: Lock Step
Tribes are tethered together, and must cross a series of barrier, water, and crawl obstacles, before an extended flat-ground sprint. First tribe to get all members across the finish line wins. Older members of both tribes (Rodger, Maralyn) are shown receiving assistance from their tribes, but eventually, Kucha narrowly wins. |

Ep.4 RC: Master Mind
Tribes, as a group, must complete a 3x3 slide puzzle. Yep, that's it. Kucha wins, and the puzzle creates a map to the location of their three hens and one rooster. Kimmi is thrilled. |
Day 11 (Nov. 2) 
Ep.4 pig kill
After making a makeshift spear with a stick and a knife in the previous episode, Skupin races off with the knife after seeing a small pig near camp. Partially aided by Nick's cutting off an escape route, Skupin traps, stabs, and kills the pig, then butchers it with Rodger's help. Kimmi is even more thrilled. |
Day 12 (Nov. 3) 
Ep.4 IC: True or Falls
Contestants must answer multiple-choice questions. If right, they stand on one of seven circles, if wrong they return to the back of the line. First tribe to the seventh circle wins immunity. Eventually, Alicia bests Mitchell at fire-related trivia, and Kucha wins. TC4 - Mitchell voted off (3-3), 12 left. |

Kucha chicken drama. Kucha eats a chicken. Kimmi objects to eating one every day. Alicia waves her finger in Kimmi's face, as she will always do. |

Ep.5 RC: Triage
Tribes must construct a triangular travois (stretcher), and select reward items (blankets, spices, soup mix) in camp. Rodger, Kimmi sit out. At the challenge, three tribe members are 'stranded' and must be rescued, one at a time, on the travois. Once returned to the starting line, the rescued person can assist in rescuing/carrying the remaining stranded people. Initial carriers: Skupin/Nick, Keith/Colby. Rescuees: 1.Jeff, Tina; 2.Alicia, Amber; 3.Elisabeth, Jerri. Kucha wins, gets reward items plus a box from Target containing hygiene items (toothpaste, shampoo, etc.) |
Day 15 (Nov. 6) 
Ep.5 IC: The Maze
All compete. Tribes must run through matching mazes, collecting five tokens, in order. First to collect all five (together), exit the maze, and reach the idol wins. That would be Ogakor, by a huge margin (5-2). TC5 - Kimmi voted off (6-1), 11 left. |

Ep.6 RC: Blind Leading the Blind
Rodger sits out. Each tribe has one sighted caller (Jerri, Nick) who directs pair of blindfolded tribemates (Colby-Tina, Amber-Keith; Alicia-Jeff, Elisabeth-Skupin) through a series of tasks: put two logs on a trestle, replace a fish trap, fill a bucket, move a picnic basket to a picnic table. Amber has Ogakor's picnic basket, but Jerri can't direct her quickly enough, and Kucha swoops in for a come-from-behind victory. Kucha wins a Doritos and Mt. Dew picnic. |

Medevac: After catching fish, Mike tends the fire, inhales smoke, passes out, and falls into the fire pit, burning his hands. Medics arrive, tend his wounds, and remove him from the game. First medical evacuation in Survivor history. TC6 - unshown, to discuss Skupin's status. 10 people left. |

Ep7 fakeout: Kucha is instructed to send their women (Alicia, Elisabeth) to Ogakor for a Girls Night Out. Ogakor is told to send their men (Colby, Keith) to Kucha (for Boys Night Out). Each pair is supposed to be scouting the opposing camp for use after the merge. Neither is used. |

Tribes are sent to a new location, where they must build a new camp from scratch. But at least there's a crate of food. They call themselves Barramundi, after a hard-to-catch fish. |

Contestants must stand on a pole over water for as long as they can. Order of finish: 10. Ep.8 IC: Don't Fence Me In
Contestants must take turns connecting ropes to poles in a grid. Each person that creates a square gets a point, puts their disc in the center of the square. Most discs placed wins. Scoring: Amber 1 (later added to), Nick 1, Colby 2, Jerri 6, Keith 17, Amber 10, Tina 16. Just short. Keith wins. TC8 - Alicia voted off (5-4), 8 left. |

Ep.9 RC: Double Play
After randomly drawing for male-female pairs in camp, pairs of contestants must complete an obstacle course together. Winners of the first two heats (Colby/Jerri d. Nick/Elisabeth; Keith/Amber d. Rodger/Tina) compete in the finals. Colby and Jerri win a helicopter trip to the Great Barrier Reef the next day. |
Day 26 (Nov. 17) 
Ep.9 reward
Colby and Jerri are picked up by helicopter in the morning, then take a boat ride to the Great Barrier Reef. They feast, drink, snorkel, illegally break off pieces of coral as souvenirs, then return to camp. |

Then they must raise the fire up to a fuse by filling a bucket with river water... except the bucket has a hole in it. Nick is first to fetch water, but his fire goes out. Keith is the first to raise his bucket, but it goes down before lighting the fuse. Colby wins. |

Contestants must shoot slingshots at plates. Each player has three plates, and when all three are broken, they are eliminated. Last player with an intact plate wins. 6.Amber out first, then 5.Keith, 4.Tina, 3.Rodger. Elisabeth has two plates to Colby's one, but Colby breaks both of Elisabeth's on consecutive shots. Contestants each receive a coffee and pastry, then ask their loved ones five trivia questions, via an ancient iMac. Family with the most correct answers (Tina's, with 4) wins a private, 30-minute online chat, and a $500 online shopping spree. |

Challenge held at night. Contestants arrive in shackles. Probst tells them a story about escaped convincts, they must then race to one of eight stations and answer a question about the story. A correct answer unlocks one of their five padlocks. First to return to the start with their shackles and all five open locks wins. Keith is first there, but drops a lock upon the way. Colby presents his five locks, wins. Also: Tina and Elisabeth both had four locks open, Rodger not shown with any. |

Ep.13 RC: Survivor Pentathlon
Composed of parts of prior challenges. Contestants start off blindfolded and shackled, must follow a ropes course until their carabiner hits a bell (can then remove blindfold). Then must complete a slide puzzle, after which they use a key to remove shackles. Then take a pail of water across a balance beam to fill a bucket until it hits a leaky hole. Then build a fire to burn through a rope, releasing the arm that goes up to light a wok. Colby wins, ahead of Elisabeth (2nd), Tina (3rd), and Keith (still on the balance beam). Colby wins a night in a Pontiac Aztek, with his mom. |

After doing the Rites of Passage hike past the departed's torches, and tossing their totems off a waterfall, contestants go to Tribal Council.
