ATTEMPTS TO RESCUE HELLER AND AUDREY BEFORE BOMBING, BEHROOZ FACES
DIFFICULT ORDER FROM HIS FATHER. In a race against time, Jack attempts
to rescue Heller and Audrey before the military bombs the terrorist
compound and kills everyone
inside. Meanwhile, Behrooz faces a difficult order from his father
in the episode "Day 4: 12:00 PM-1:00 PM" Monday, Jan. 24.

Insider:
"Jack makes his way into the terrorist compound, he kills several
guards and makes his way into the warehouse. Back aboard Air Force One, Keeler’s
advisor informs him that the missile is ready to be launched. Just as Keeler
is about to authorize the attack, Erin Driscoll calls and informs him that Jack
has infiltrated the compound, Keeler aborts the attack. Jack takes out more guards
and he comes across Audrey’s cell. Jack gives her his combat knife and
he promises to return. Jack runs down the corridor and he comes across the broadcast
room. Back at CTU, the staff watches Heller’s trial, when suddenly a massive
firefight erupts. Jack kills all of the guards and secures the Secretary, they
rush to Audrey’s location but she is gone. They run outside as the Marinesarrive. The helicopters cut down the terrorists and soldiers repel onto the building
and clear the compound. Jack and Heller come across Omar who now has Audrey as
his hostage. Audrey looks in Jack’s eyes, he knows what she’s going
to do. Audrey stabs Omar in the thigh and Jack throws a knife into Omar’s
chest. The Marines secure the building as Heller and Audrey hug each other and
realize their ordeal is over. At the Araz home Navi seems oddly upbeat as he
learns of Heller’s rescue. Behrooz asks Navi why he isn’t mad and
Navi tells him that the trial was just a fraction of today’s plan. Navi
tells Behrooz to go along with a man named Tariq and bury
Debbie’s body,
Behrooz senses something is wrong. Back at the compound Audrey tells Jack that
she recognized one of the men in the warehouse but she can’t remember from
where. Back at CTU, Audrey’s husband Paul arrives. Curtis analyzes the
field data from the compound and he sees a briefcase, he tells the field unit
to bring it back to CTU. Back at the Araz house Dina realizes that Behrooz is
gone. She learns that Tariq is with her son and she comes to the conclusion that
the leader of the cell, a man named Habib Marwan wants Behrooz dead, but we will
learn that Navi is the one that ordered the death of his own son.
Jack, Audrey and Heller arrive at CTU for debriefing. Audrey goes to a workstation
where an analyst shows her photos of men that match her description of the man
from the warehouse. In the interrogation room Secretary Heller speaks with his
son. Heller questions him about his possible involvement but Richard assures
his father that he’s innocent. Heller doesn’t believe him and he
tells Curtis to do what’s necessary to get the information from Richard.
Behrooz and Tariq come to a stop near the Santa Clarita mountains. Behrooz realizes
that Tariq is going to kill him, he hits Tariq with his shovel and continues
hitting him until he dies. Back at CTU, Audrey continues to look at photos, however
she doesn’t recognize any of the men. She tries to remember his face and
she realizes that she met him at a function a few months ago. In the CTU lobby
a representative from a defense company arrives. He informs Driscoll that one
of the company’s operatives was killed during a covert transport operation
and that inside of the briefcase was a experimental over-ride device. This device
was being developed as an emergency back-up option in case of a nuclear power
plant core meltdown. The man says that his company has been monitoring the internet
and that there have been no signs that the device has been activated. Jack realizes
that the terrorists kidnapped Heller because the web-cast would act as misdirection
for the terrorists real plan. The terrorists used the massive amount of internet
traffic to their advantage and they are positioning themselves for a massive
nation-wide nuclear power plant meltdown. As the episode ends Marianne
Taylorcalls her contact and informs him that CTU knows about the over-ride device,
this allows the terrorists to speed up the final phase and they will soon be
able to activate the nuclear meltdown." |

- "Jack finds Heller, but Heller isn't alone. Jack and the Secretary make
eye contact. The Secretary falls over giving Jack a perfect shot
at the terrorist. Jack unties the Secretary. Heller grabs a gun and
they go look for Audrey. Outside of the compound the marines
are arriving. Helicopters
take out the terrorists in a massive firefight. Marines rappel
onto the building. Below they breach, bang and clear the doors
and enter the building. Jack and Heller get outside. They have
to hide behind a car to avoid the helicopters gunfire. They come
across Audrey, she isn't alone though. Omar has
a gun to her head. Jack looks at Audrey's eyes, he already knows
what she is going to do. Audrey stabs Omar in the leg, Jack then
throws a knife into Omar's chest, he falls to the ground. Audrey,
Jack and Heller exit the compound. They get into an awaiting blue
CTU transport helicopter and head back to CTU for debriefing."

- Our sequencing of the available vidcaps: Jack will
enter the compound, felling terrorist guards with relative ease.
Next, he most likely
comes across Audrey's cell, and we'll see Jack tell
Audrey "I'll come back for you, I promise." Somewhere
in here, Driscoll will get in touch with President Keeler,
and tell him Jack went in on his own. Jack will make his way to the
area
in which Heller's "trial" is being performed
and broadcasted. Conveniently, there appears to be a stack of boxes
to provide him perfect cover.
The trial ends, and the terrorists hand over the handgun with which
Heller will be executed. As the terrorist aims at Heller's head,
Jack shoots him (from behind the boxes), then proceeds to take out
the remaining terrorists, freeing Heller. At about this point, Jack
picks up a rifle, and he and Heller go to look for Audrey. Presumably,
the remaining events follow the 24 Insider description, above.

- "Episode
6 will be a transitional episode. The hunt to retrieve Secretary
Heller is over. Jack's biggest enemy
now is Erin Driscoll. Jack and ? go back to CTU.
But he won't have to stay for long. Jack is taken into the 'blue
room' we have all seen, but in this episode it briefly acts as
an interrogation room. Jack sits down, he still has his bullet-proof
vest on. Driscoll and Curtis Manning ask the questions.
Driscoll's hands are tied and she can't do much. Jack broke various
Agency protocols but a higher power will ensure Jack's freedom.
Heller was a major part of the attack today but he wasn't the main
objective."

body will be wrapped in black trash bags. It is duct taped tight
at the feet, torso and the neck. A middle eastern man with long
black hair must dispose of the body. But he isn't alone, young Behrooz
Araz is also given the task. They go to a isolated location,
it looks like where the mountains meet the desert. Under the scorching
hot sun the two must dig a hole and dispose of the body for good."
