Insider ) |
- " Heller
puts on his orange prison uniform and he and Audrey embrace,
not knowing if this is the last they will see of each other.
Eventually two men will grab Audrey and put her against the
fence. They throw her back into the fence and hold her arms.
One of the men puts a knife against her throat."

- "Overall, James Heller is a hardass, take-no-prisoners type
of guy. He loves his daughter, who he affectionately calls 'Audey'.
In a very sweet scene, he makes her repeat after him, "We are
going to get rescued"... he tells her numerous times that when
the trial starts, there might be a chance for her to escape, and
she has to take it, no matter how dangerous. All he cares about is
her safety."

- "Behrooz,
has a girlfriend named Debbie who
is non-Muslim. After Behrooz brings his girlfriend
home in hopes of persuading his parents he's in love
with her, he gets a weird feeling. His mother starts
acting nice and accepting, As he's trying to get Debbie
out of the house quickly, she starts convulsing and
foaming at the mouth. Turns out the mother has poisoned
her and she just stands there smiling and watching
her son hold Debbie while she dies. The mother ends
up cleaning up a very nasty mess... This is a really
creepy scene and one of the best in the episodes I've
read."

with the "Andrew dies" spoiler

- "Navi goes
off to do some business, and Behrooz begs Dina to
convince his dad not to make him call her [Debbie]
over. Dina agrees. She then calls Navi, tells him that Behrooz
tried to convince her of keeping Debbie out of it... Navi
says to make the call, and she gladly does. What a snake!
Needless to say, next thing we know, Debbie is standing in
the driveway, Behrooz calls out his mom (who is, to say the
least, shameless about her deception), and Dina lets her
in. Debbie says that Dina called her over to make amends.
As the scene/hour [Ep. 4.3 ] draws to a close, Dina asks
her to wait in the living room while she makes tea. This
goes with some earlier spoiler talk I had heard about Dina
poisoning and killing Debbie. I'm expecting that to come
in Hour 4, though that's purely conjecture."

- In the FOX promo for Episodes 4.3-4.4 (airing immediately after
Ep. 4.2), Dina is shown handing a gun to Behrooz. She says "You
have to take care of this." Then, as a close-up on Debbie switches
focus to Behrooz standing in the background, with one hand behind
his back, a Dina voiceover says "Take her to the basement and
do it."

- "Marianne arrives
in Hour 3 [9:17 AM, to be exact]. She isn't a CTU
employee -- but she is apparently computer saavy, or something
to that effect, where she could be helpful to the investigation. Curtis
Manning comes up with a list of people who can be
helpful (I wish I could be more specific), and intentionally
excludes Marianne from the list. Marianne calls him, confronts
him about it, then says that she's not going to miss this
opportunity to advance her career because he's 'uncomfortable'...
she calls Erin, and Erin tells Curtis she's bringing her
in. Marianne is hauntingly similar to Carrie Turner of Season
2."

- "Jack DOES
save Andrew Paige. He has to follow Kalil,
who takes off and leaves his goons to kill Andrew. Jack has
been watching the scene from atop a hill with a sniper rifle
(as seen in the trailer). Chloe is watching from a traffic
camera, and she tells Jack to stop them from killing Andrew.
Jack says that he has to follow Kalil, and he's about to
jet... Chloe watches from the traffic cam as one of the goons
is about to ice Andrew. Suddenly, the gun-holder is shot
-- it cuts to the real action, and the other goon is taken
out. Jack lowers his sniper rifle, sprints to his truck,
then speeds off to chase down Kalil (yeah, he abandons Andrew,
but he definitely saved his life). Talk about multi-tasking!"

- "Curtis is
responsible for the Richard Heller interrogation.
Richard is put to a polygraph test, and they surmise that
he is hiding something. Erin orders Curtis
to use force to get intel out of him. He's about to inject
him with some painful looking serum, but at the last second
orders them to stop. Erin is about to bitch him out, but
Curtis stands his ground, and offers an alternative. The
next scene of Richard Heller is about 20 minutes later, and
he has a visor over his eyes and headphones on, making a
very strange sound. Curtis calls this 'sensory deprivation'.
In one of the best scenes in episode 3, Curtis comes in,
turns the lights on, takes off the visor and headphones,
and starts up his interrogation again. The exchange is something
like:
Curtis: How long do you think you've been in here?
Richard: (groggily) Three or four hours?
Curtis: You've been in here for less than thirty minutes. That's
what sensory deprivation does to you.
Richard: (breaks down and cries)." Source

- "This
episode will find Jack hot on the trial
of Kalil Hasan, one of Navi's
top-tier operatives. Kalil makes his way into the "Gallion's
Market" parking lot, which is somewhere near the outskirts
of Los Angeles county. Jack watches Kalil go inside, he doesn't
know if a meeting or a drop is going on inside or weather
Kalil just has a simple case of the munchies. Jack needs
to get intel on the kidnapping soon or Driscoll will come
after him. Now right here something happens that causes Jack
to make a very unique David Mamet style decision. Jack, who
is dressed in ALL black makes his way into the store. Did
you notice the "ALL black" thing I have been forcing
down your throats for a few months now ? Well it was for
a reason. When I say all black I mean that Jack has black
pants, a black t-shirt, a black jacket and did I mention
that Jack now has a black ski mask on ? That's right, Jack
goes into the store and in due time he will put on a ski
mask. Jack busts out his gun and announces that 'this is
a robbery'."
Source - The
24 Insider
- Hour
3 ends thusly: "Jack and Chloe have
been working together to track down Kalil...
he needs satellite footage in order to
keep a safe distance from Kalil (because
they're about to go on a two-lane road,
and Jack would have a hard time successfully
tailing him), and Chloe is trying to get
him access. Kalil pulls off into a rest
stop to buy something (Food? Drinks?),
and Jack is in the car outside of the store
waiting for Chloe to get the satellite
feed... he is running out of time before
Kalil gets out onto the road, and finds
out from Chloe it's going to be another
five minutes. Jack doesn't have that kind
of time -- he gets out of the car, goes
to his trunk, grabs a ski mask... puts
it on, then rushes into the store and initiates
the hold up."

- "Jack tells
the customers inside of the gas station to get on the ground,
this includes Kalil. Jack tells the cashier
to put the cash in a bag. Now right here is where I get a
little confused in the scene. A L.A. County Sheriff's Department
car comes to a stop at the market. I don't know weather the
cashier tripped the silent alarm or if it's just a coincidence,
I don't have the details on how Jack handles the first cop
that arrives. It doesn't really matter because more of L.A.
County's finest are on the way and Jack decides that he needs
a hostage. So who does he pick ? The little old lady or a
middle eastern terrorist? Jack takes Kalil hostage and points
the gun to his head. A cop car screams down the street and
stops in the middle of the gas stations parking lot. Two
officers get out with there shotguns and point them at the
store. The cop tells Jack to come out with his hands up.
Now somehow CTU gets involved in the scene but I don't have
much on their role. Jack and Kalil exit the store. Jack and
the cops engage in a screaming match and it looks like CTU
is doing something behind the scenes right here and I have
absolutely no idea what it is. I have heard rumblings about
the "fake arrest" and rumblings about Kalil being
tracked by CTU after the robbery."

- "Chloe and Jack eventually
get the biggest lead since Sherek's arrest but it's not enough.
Director Driscoll will learn of Chloe's
deception and Erin will order CTU internal security to detain
her. Chloe's intel gathering status is stripped and
two CTU security guards make their way toward her station.
The guards swarm around CTU, all of them focusing on Chloe.
She stands up as Driscoll watches the guards handcuff her.
She is moved to a holding room and questioned by internal
investigation agents. Driscoll hates the fact that Jack can
still manipulate CTU into doing things his way and her wrath
will be felt by Jack eventually."

- "In
the fourth hour, sadly, we get an echo of one
of the show's all-time low points when Driscoll's
clinically depressed daughter calls in, off her
medication and causing a significant distraction when she
suddenly disappears. Let's just hope she doesn't end up
being chased by cougars...."

- "Secretary
Heller and Audrey decide they
do not want their deaths broadcast on the Internet for
the whole world to see. In the holding room they decide
that suicide is their only option. They quietly maneuver
the chairs towards the side of the room. Audrey uses the
chain to break a gas pipe. The gas gradually builds up
and they lose consciousness. Omar sees
that something is wrong and he and two other terrorists
enter the room. They cover their mouths and rush to save
them."
