STILL ON THE RUN, CHLOE FINDS HERSELF IN THE FIELD. While Jack's
interrogation techniques come into question, CTU operatives close
in on Marwan. Meanwhile, Chloe is forced into field duty in
the episode "Day 4: 1:00 AM-2:00 AM" Monday, April 25 (9:00-10:00

Insider:
"At
CTU, Bill Buchanan speaks with Vice-President
Logan and Mike Novick. Buchannan tells them that Jack
was able to get Marwan's location. Logan is shocked to
hear that his orders about Joseph Prado's safety were ignored and
he will eventually order Secret Service to arrest Jack.
This is yet another huge mistake by the incompetent Logan. Meanwhile,
Audrey flips out on Jack and on how he tortured
Prado. Jack doesn't have time to deal with Audrey right now because
he and Curtis are heading to the downtown night club where Marwan
and his associates are meeting. At the club, Marwan is making
a tape that will be shown to the world in a few hours.
Marwan explains why the attacks occurred and his motivation for
bringing terror to America. Jack arrives at the club and the field
units set up a operations center. Bill Buchanan calls Jack
to let him know that Secret Service will arrive soon and
he tells Jack to secure Marwan before they arrive. Jack goes undercover
into the club and he places a camera inside. The operation hits
a snag when Secret Service arrives to arrest Jack. Lee Castle goes
inside to get Jack but Marwan's men know they have been compromised.
CTU storms the club and Jack and Curtis run after
the terrorists. Marwan makes his way into a secret escape tunnel.
Jack closes in on them and kills one of Marwan's men who has the
videotape. Marwan runs through the secret tunnel and blows
up the entrance which blocks CTU from entering the tunnel.
Marwan has once again escaped.
Meanwhile, Marwan's men move the Nuclear
warhead to a warehouse in Iowa. The box is stamped "U.S.
Army". Inside of the warehouse, Sabir is busy
preparing the nuke. Sabir's wife calls and questions
him about files she found on the computer. Sabir's computer contains
blueprints and information on the chip that is needed to launch
the nuke. Sabir's wife is very suspicious and she calls
CTU and Chloe and a field unit are dispatched to
Sabir's home. Meanwhile Vice-President Logan is briefed
on how Marwan escaped and he knows he ruined the operation because
he sent Secret Service to arrest Jack. Logan releases Jack
from custody but the weight of his mistake quickly gets
to Logan and he is in over his head and he questions his Presidency.
Mike Novick knows Logan's inexperience is a danger to the safety
of the country and Mike knows who to turn to. Mike calls
David Palmer and asks him to help out in the time of chaos
as an advisor to Logan. Palmer says he needs to speak face to face
with Logan before he makes any decision. Palmer leaves his home
and gets in his car and heads for the meeting with Vice President
Logan.
Chloe and the other CTU agents arrive
at Sabir's home which is located a few miles from L.A.
Chloe is very nervous about being in the field. Chloe accesses
the computer and it's encrypted. Chloe breaks through and sees files
on the computer chip. Marwan's men arrive and kill the CTU
agents. Chloe and Sabir's wife run and escape out of the
house. They have nowhere to go so Chloe goes into the bulletproof
CTU car. Marwan's operative shoots at the car but the glass doesn't
break. Chloe looks around the car and sees the gun-safe,
she calls CTU to get the combination for the safe. Marwan's
operative gets into his car and rams Chloe's car and tries to rupture
the gas tank. Chloe gets the combination and her hands tremble as
she opens the safe. Chloe exits the car with the gun. It's supposed
to be some sort of machine gun. Chloe points it at Marwan's
man and fires the automatic weapon and cuts him down."
