Master post-episode 2 expedition spoilers/ speculation |
- Expedition A: Row to shore, retrieve
treasure from a waterfall-like area (red crew wins).
- Seven people on red crew = 13-14 left = Ep.3 or Ep.4
The first expedition features seven
people in the red crew. Since it's not from the first two
episodes, it must be from either Ep3 (14 left, crews 7-7)
or Ep4 (13 left, crews 7-6). As the red crew departs from
the ship, Jupiter, Jay and Christa are on one side, Nessa,
Azmyth (?) and Louie (?) are on the right, and someone else
(Kendra?) has the rudder. Obviously,
the red crew wins.

Joe Don (heavy stubble, white shirt) is visible with Nessa,
carrying the red crew's ladder. Nessa also has the red crew's
flag. For the black crew, Ben is in the lead, carrying the
flag, while Azmyth follows, and Christa and one other woman
are carrying the black ladder. There's another person hidden
behind the second ladder carrier, and one more guy in a white
shirt (Jay/ Sean?) follows.

Six people are visible in the black crew
boat. Joe Don has on his pink, long-sleeved shirt in these
shots, and Joy appears to have joined the black crew for
this expedition. Joe Don's presence means this is not Expedition
B (above), because he's on the red crew for that episode.

- Expedition D: On land, dig around in fake
skulls, then dig in the sand? (Red crew wins).
- Six-plus people on red crew; five-plus on black crew = 11 left = Ep.6?
This expedition was heavily previewed pre-show,
which is a bit odd, since it seems to be fairly far into the game. Sean has fairly
substantial beard growth, and there are three women on each crew - missing only
Cheryl and Alexis. Jupiter is shown on the black crew with two guys who are barely
visible at the water's edge. One looks like Azmyth (possibly Joe Don), the other
is unidentifiable. Louie is barely visible in his brown shirt in the cluster
of red crew people digging up the treasure, and Ben can be seen behind Sean when
he hoists the treasure up.

But wait, there's more, Mostly vidcaps we can't place in any
of the above expeditions:
- Picture 1: Shows Azmyth, Jupiter and Jay
on the red crew. At first glance, it could be expedition A
(top of page), but Jay is wearing his bandana differently in
this shot. Not that readjustments are impossible, of course.
- Picture 2: Laurel on black crew. Could be from A, B or D.
- Picture 3: Red crew's Azmyth and Alexis
(on land, next to a cannon).
Could be expedition A, but it's definitely not B, C or D.
- Picture 4: Cheryl and Nessa on red crew. Could even be from
Episode 2. If not, could be from B, C or D.

Pictures 5-6: Joe Don on red crew. Would otherwise fit Episode
2, except Joe Don's on the black crew there, and the thing
he's holding here seems to be the red crew's.

- The white crew = six-plus people in boat
= Outcasts II, the Resurrection?
And finally... the white crew. Christian,
Alexis, Joe Don and Joy are all clearly visible. The guy behind
Joe Don looks facially like Sean, but seems to have on one
of Jay's shirts. And there's also someone in the front of the
boat, visible only as a flash of arm in the video. Is this
a late-game merged crew? A dreaded "Outcasts" twist, of formerly-booted
players competing to return to the game? It should become obvious
relatively soon, since Christian isn't visible in any other
post-Episode 2 expedition shots. And Alexis also seems to be
dumped fairly early. Hmmm.

For what it's worth, we think the "white
crew", who are in the red crew's old boat, may be opposed by
what we'll call "the non-white crew", which if this is an outcasts
twist, should be everyone left in the game. That could be this
group, flying the black crew's flag. We see at least Nessa,
Ben, Jupiter and Christa, and possibly Laurel with
the Amidala-esque hairdo in the center. By our count, there
are eight oars in the water, and two people (Jupiter, Laurel?)
not rowing, so that would make 10 non-booted players, putting
this in Episode 7, barring a prior multiple-boot episode.
