2 detailed Boot spoilers/ speculation |
 Once
again, with no sourced spoilers, we're forced to go the traditional
route of vidcap analysis, and use process of elimination to
narrow down the options for the bootee.
Again,
the shot at right (even if it's from a future episode) proves
Azmyth and Cheryl are both safe in Ep2. For the rest of the
cast, we have to look at who's on which crew in this episode,
and what evidence remains of future expeditions/crews.

Ben is clearly on the black crew in this
episode (he's shown holding the black crew's flag as the
contestants jump ship at the start of the expedition). So
the first shot below, with Ben on a winning red crew (along
with the others in the shot) makes Ben, Sean, Joy, Kendra,
Nessa and Cheryl all safe.

We also see Louie, Azmyth and
Nessa together on a future red crew, so Louie is also safe.

Alexis
is shown on a future red crew with Azmyth, so she's safe.
-
The
shot of Joe Don voting (with Kendra and Louie in voting positions
as well) makes all three of them safe.

And the shot of a
future red crew with Jay,
Jupiter and Christa means none of them are out this week.
- The shot of a future black crew with Jupiter, Christa and
Laurel makes Laurel safe this week.
That
makes everyone safe, except: Christian.
The only exception is the shot of him on the white crew (see
bottom of page), but that could be a dreaded crew of outcasts...
although John does not appear to be a part of it.
(Note: Not that it's directly
relevant, since both are otherwise safe in this episode,
but CBS also aired a shot of Christa casting a vote for Kendra [not
Nessa, as we originally thought] at some point either here
or in the future).

 And
once again, there's still a third
team color, white, in CBS's own ads (at right). From a Survivor
perspective, there are two possibilities: a late-game, merged
single team, or (ick) a team of previously-booted players,
trying to get back in the game. From our analysis of future
expeditions, we thinks it's pretty likely that the white crew
is indeed outcasts (formerly booted players).
So who's there on Team White? From left
to right in the picture, we see Christian, Alexis, Joy (in
the back), Joe Don and either Sean or Jay (looks like
Sean, but dressed like Jay). Plus at least one other person
(barely visible) in the front of the boat.
