1 detailed Treasure spoilers/ speculation |

Burnett: "Every week there's treasure, and it's worth
a lot of money.... In the first week alone, they're competing
for 40,000 U.S. dollars' worth of Spanish doubloons."
The general
outline of the hunt appears to be: paddle to shore in longboats
(and according to the map, up a river), solve various puzzles
along the way, collect stuff, and eventually find the X-marked
spot, where the digging takes place. From the TV Guide Channel
preview, Scott Flavelle gives an outline of the course
(roughly
outlined below in vidcaps).
The start: head to shore and up the river...
Scott Flavelle: "The first expedition goes up one of the slowest-moving
rivers on Dominica, so it's very, very spooky."

Stage somewhere in the middle: muck around in the river....
Looks like they play around with fake skeletons for some
reason, and eventually retrieve something from underwater.

Stage somewhere else in the middle: the stumble in the jungle....
This step appears to involve a lot of running around, and
unlocking things with keys.
Scott Flavelle: "And further on, they need to find a skeleton,
and release it from the jungle canopy, to find further clues
in the eye sockets, in the skull."

Note that the two main treasure-finding pics (Red Azmyth
handing a water-logged chest to red Louie, and red Sean digging
up a smaller chest with red Ben cheering in the background)
both involve different teams than we see in the first episode.
Still, the shot of a cheering (red) Christa
could have been from this episode, but she's not dressed
as she is on the Ep1 expedition. So there are no apparent
pictures of the finding of the first loot. Nonetheless, since
(red) Azmyth is shown as the captain later on, red
team must find the $40,000 in doubloons.
