Not having seen the show yet, it's not clear how strategy
will go with these picks. Since teams are randomly assigned
before each expedition, it would make some sense to target
the players particularly ill-suited for pirating, since they
have a 50-50 chance of dragging your team down on the next
expedition. Then again, by the same logic, a particularly
strong player has the same chance of leading the opposing
team to the next treasure. But it's probably easier to convince
the remaining crew to vote off a weak, rather than a strong
player.
With that in mind, the plethora of future
footage allows us to eliminate all but a few people from
consideration for the first elimination: Christian, Jay and
John. Cheryl and Azmyth (above) obviously both make it through
at least one Pirate's Court. All the others are shown on
either a different team from their Ep1 assignment, or on
teams with other people who are. (See below). Of those three,
Jay and Christian were both on the winning team. While that
doesn't exempt them from consideration, you'd think if they
contributed at all, that would make it harder for their teammates
to oust them. So the most likely candidate for dismissal
would appear to be John, the scientist/ Chippendale dancer.

course, all of this still fails to address the presence of
a third team color, white, in CBS's own ads (at right). From
a Survivor perspective, there are two possibilities: a late-game,
merged single team, or (ick) a team of previously-booted
players, trying to get back in the game. We'd prefer to think
the former, but you never know (unless someone has a sourced
spoiler). Stay tuned to find out.
So who's there on Team White? From left
to right in the picture, we see Christian, Alexis, Joy (in
the back), Joe Don/J.D. and either Sean or Jay (looks like
Sean, but dressed like Jay). Plus at least one other person
(barely visible) in the front of the boat.
