6 detailed Expedition spoilers/ speculation |
This
must be the Ep6 expedition: six on black and five on red, distributed
as follows:
- Black crew: Clearly Ben (carrying the map and the black flag), Azmyth and Christa.
There's another woman carrying the ladder with Christa (Laurel?), and someone
hidden just behind her. Jay is also there as an officer, and appears to be bringing
up the rear.
- Red crew: Nessa is carrying the red flag, and sharing the ladder with Joe Don
(who also has the map). Since the black crew has three guys by default, Louie
must be on the red crew as well (in retrospect, he's actually visible, carrying
the ladder right behind Joe Don).
As for the rest, your guess is as good as ours.

For other expedition shots, we turn
to the apparently completely unaired Ep6 preview (CBS is too
busy hyping reruns of Jericho, or shows airing in
the fall, during their actual TV shows), available at CBS.com's
main page, but nowhere on their Pirate
Master site.
In addition to the shots above, we
see the expedition starts out with the contestants jumping
ship, and swimming to shore. There appear to be several running
stages, apparently while carrying the rope ladders above. And
we also see the rope bridge that the Dominica
travel site had
identified as Titou Gorge, location of the finale expedition.
But apparently it's also (or perhaps solely) in Ep6. And finally,
there are shots of the black crew celebrating, which would
seem to bode well for them.

Who wins? The black crew (or at least
Joy, see the shots below) seems to experience both the lows
and the highs of the expedition experience, so it's hard to
know for sure. But there do seem to be more black crew celebrants
than just Joy, and if there's talk of mutiny against Azmyth
(as the preview implies), we'd guess he'd probably have to
stay in power for that to happen. So that implies a black
crew win.
