Many of us in Deathsuite considered ourselves to be scientist/engineer-musicians.  Kent laid these fantasies to rest fairly quickly.  A master of both guitar and bass, Kent was the guiding force of the band Beatfetish, as well as a closet four-track user.  He actually found a way to make Harvey Mudd serve his artistic interests as well, using his engineering experience to concentrate on audio engineering, leading him at one point to build a pre-amp for Billy Corgan, including an impromptu Smashing Pumpkins show in his very own pad, to test it out.

These days, Kent having designed guitar amps for a couple of different companies (Seymour Duncan & ADA), worked at a toy design house, and most recently
designing a digital mixing/recording console for a company called Euphonix in Palo Alto, Kent does free-lance work, including projects for Nike.
