on the show until after they're booted, we've compiled
relevant pre- and post-game observations of the cast,
made by Survivor's play-by-play commentator.

For
a second straight season, Survivor will begin
by aping a more-popular previous version of itself; in
this case, Survivor: Palau. As in: the expanded,
19-person cast will be forced to live as one tribe (and
build a camp) until Probst wanders in around Day 3 to
force them to split up. Excuse us while we yawn and doze.

Someone
is getting exiled, but don't worry, you won't have to
roll your eyes through more footage of forlorn castaways
filling their time by fruitlessly digging up the island.
Now they'll just sit around doing nothing. How's that
for progress?

After
the two tribes (Moto, green; and Ravu, orange) are split
up, with the extra person being dispersed in some way,
a challenge takes place. Watch as seven grown people
play sled dogs for two of their tribemates. Excitement
apparently ensues. And some tribe (probably not Ravu)
wins, while the other has to boot someone.
