With
four players gone, the tribes will be shuffled around, in
an attempt to randomly break up alliances. We'll see how
that works. TV
Guide swears it's at least fretted about:
"Some castaways fear alliances will be broken after a tribal
switch occurs; a physical attraction between two players
occurs and leads to the revelation that a hidden immunity
idol exists."
DanieuBleau says
a mere two people from each tribe will switch places. Not
exactly the wholesale shuffling CBS seems to be hyping, at
least on the seven-strong Fei Long tribe.
Update: DanieuBleau has
filled in the entire switch composition: Aaron and James
switch to Zhan Hu; Frosti and Sherea switch to Fei Long.
Also,
Dreamer from
JokersUpdates posted a scan from the TV Guide print edition,
which features the following text (penned by Shawna Malcom):
"The remaining members of Zhan Hu and Fei Long get thrown
a classic Survivor curveball
tonight when the two tribes are suddenly switched up and,
before they even catch their collective breath, forced to
compete for immunity."
Later update: TV ads now
show both tribes reading their switch treemail, with the
CBS-provided graphic saying "4 way kidnap." Importantly,
Todd says "Choose two warriors from Zhan Hu," and Sherea
reads "Choose two warriors from Fei Long," so the opposing
tribe gets to pick which two people to take. So Zhan Hu chooses
Aaron and James, while Fei Long selects Frosti and Sherea.
Still, Todd and Amanda ought to recognize this as essentially
the exact same twist as the very first one, in Africa, with
slightly different wording. (And as you'll see in the IC,
the yellow tribe again
throws the
challenge to boot the young male leader of the red tribe).
As for evidence of the switch, Frosti is
clearly shown in the ad competing for Fei Long (removing
a red bamboo pole), and James is shown (apparently after
the IC loss) standing behind tiny
Peih-Gee, in CBS's most feeble attempt yet at hiding buff
colors.

So who wins? No clue if this can be considered
"winnable." But the challenge
board says the reward is a
"basket with luxury items." Which might explain
where everyone got their swimsuits for the IC.
