August 20 , 2007: Jeff Probst's comments (made
sometime during the game), as told to Ileane Rudolph of TV
Guide, in their barely pre-cast reveal article:
"Jeff's take: Aaron
is a threat. He's a charming, good-looking guy, and he's got
a side to him that's cold like steel. He's a bartender and
he told us that he sizes up people fast to get a bigger tip.
He'd tell you one thing and there was
always something else going on. He's the guy who could be playing everybody."

August 20, 2007: Officially revealed
as a Survivor: China contestant by CBS, as the cast
is unceremoniously dumped onto the CBS web site. From
his official
CBS bio:
 "Originally from Belmont County,
Ohio, Aaron Reisberger obtained a Bachelor of Science degree
in Hospitality Management from Ohio State University. After
college, he moved to Chicago for some time and then to
Hawaii. He also has his certification from the American
Council on Exercise and a bartending license from the state
of Hawaii. He is currently a surfing instructor while also
tending bar and managing a tapas restaurant. He has previously
worked in home remodeling.
Reisberger's hobbies
include cooking (his favorite show is Top
Chef and
he subscribes to Food & Wine),
surfing, golf and reading. He describes himself as witty,
fun and, well, sometimes too nice. He is proud to say he
was on The Price is Right. He thinks his knowledge
of cooking and how to make things edible and tasty will help
his game, as will his ability to adapt to his environment
and to get along without a lot of creature comforts.
Reisberger currently
resides in Venice, California. His birth date is April 25,
1975."

July 28, 2007: From the MySpace blog of one
of Aaron's, uh, "friends":
"a guy in a
+ b = c is in the next survivor! yeah, aaron reisberger,
the guy who snorted coke from
the cleavage of mallika pettengill (it was all their idea,
i swear) has been cast and is off in china shooting the show
right now. that's pretty cool. i've never known anyone on a
reality program, i don't think. without directv we won't be
able to watch it, but i'm sure there'll be plenty of fun following
it online and amongst the people in venice that are a.reisberger
supporters. go aaron, win it all. in recent
months he's been a manager at primitivo, a swanky wine bar/restaurant on
abbott kinney and i was thinking of hitting him up for a job.
there seems to be some crosspollination between the two establishments
as of late."

Skills:
"In the meantime, we were tipped that an Aaron Reisberger is
on the cast. That's all I have on this one, just his name."

graduating in 1999.
- Graduated from Union Local High School in Belmont, OH in
1993.
